Windows Live Family Safety
Windows Live Family Safety includes features such as website blocking, content filtering, and web activity monitoring reports found in a number of parental supervision packages. In addition, it provides expert guidance from respected child-oriented organizations (such as the American Academy of Pediatrics) on age-appropriate settings and online activities.
Keep your children safe with the website filtering, content filtering, and web activity monitoring tools included with Windows Live Family Safety.
Family Safety also provides contact management, where parents are able to create "allow" lists to help prevent their children from communicating with unknown contacts and instead communicate only with contacts that parents have approved. Family Safety allows remote access to its features from anywhere in the world.
From the Family Safety window, allowable members can access the other Windows Live features, as well as use the file sharing abilities of SkyDrive (see the section "SkyDrive").
