Windows Media Center

Windows Media Center lets you turn your PC into an all-in-one center for control of your entertainment devices. This means that you can use your PC to access music, photos, TV, movies, and other online media from the comfort of your couch with your remote control. It also lets you stream music, TV, movies, photos, and other entertainment to such devices as your cell phone, as well as email, text, and messages.

Windows Media Center is the environment in which you play digital media, as well as organize the media files, burn CD-ROMs, and synchronize your files with multiple devices.
