Copying content from Web pages
As an alternative to saving a whole Web page as a file, you can copy and paste it (or any portion of it) to a word processing document. While you're viewing the Web page, press Ctrl+A to select everything in the document. Or hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer through the content you want to copy. Then press Ctrl+C to copy the selection to the Clipboard.
Next, open the document into which you want to paste the content. Then click where you want to put the copied content. Or open Microsoft Word or WordPad so that you start with a new, empty document. Then press Ctrl+V or right-click at about where you want to paste; next, choose Paste.
To copy just a single picture from a Web page, right-click the picture and choose Copy. Then open a graphics program and press Ctrl+V to paste. Or open a word processing document that can accept pictures and then click where you want to put the picture to position the cursor. Then press Ctrl+V or right-click that same spot and choose Paste.
