Controlling Page Breaks
Page breaks that split up important information that should appear together on the same page are probably the most prevalent type of problem you're likely to notice in the Print Preview window. Fortunately, Excel offers a variety of methods for taking care of the different sorts of paging problems that tend to crop up.
If you have page break problems for a printout that features lots of tables of data that are much wider than they are tall, often the best way to try to solve this problem is simply to change the orientation of the printed report from the default Portrait mode (where the printing runs with the short edge of the paper) to Landscape mode (where the printing runs with the long edge). To try out this solution, open the Page tab of the Page Setup dialog box (File → Page Setup or the Setup button in Print Preview) and then select the Landscape option button.
