Sending Workbooks Out for Review

Excel makes it easy to send out spreadsheets for review by clients, coworkers, and managers who need to give you their input or approval after reviewing their contents. When getting spreadsheets ready to send out for this type of review, you can annotate them by attaching your comments to key cells that require particular attention.

When sending out a workbook for review, you can either send the workbook embedded within the body of an e-mail message or send it as an attachment to an e-mail message. If you're part of a Microsoft Exchange Server system, you can place a copy of the workbook in a public folder so that all users who have permission to access that folder can open the workbook for review.
