Troubleshooting
Once all your equipment is connected you might find that one or more network adapters is not connected. Again, you will typically see a green light in your system tray, or some similar indicator, that shows your computer's wireless network adapter is connecting with the access point in infrastructure mode or with other network adapters in ad-hoc mode.
- Check your connections.
- Make sure all equipment is set to ad-hoc mode if there is no access point.
- Make sure your cable or DSL modem is working and connecting to your ISP. Most modems have three lights, and they should all be lit.
