Extract Specified Words from a Text String
Even though Excel is not specifically designed for text, you still might often have many words as data in your spreadsheets. Excel has a powerful and useful Text formula/function that we can use to extract words from a string of words or, put another way, parse out specific words from a text string of words.
In this tutorial, we'll show how to extract the last word, the first word, and the nth word from a string of text.
