Easy List Editing
Excel lists are not only easy to sort, filter, and total, they're also easy to edit. You can insert new columns and rows as quickly as you can delete them. And if, for some reason, the cell range in your list doesn't include all the data you want, you can resize the list (provided that column headings remain in the same row as the original list and the new range overlaps the old one).
