Changing Default Print Settings Using a Template
If you find that you are never satisfied with the Excel default print settings, you may want to create a template with the print settings you use most often. To create such a template, follow these steps:
- Start with an empty workbook.
- Adjust the print settings to your liking. Use the appropriate section in this part if you need assistance with a particular setting.
- Save the workbook as a template in your xlstart folder, using the name Book.xlt.
Excel uses this template as the basis for all new workbooks, and your custom print settings become the default settings.
