Quickly Hide an Open Workbook

  1. Right click on any workbook sheet which one you want to hide and select hide.

    Excel hides the current workbook, leaving the Excel program open and visible. If you have another workbook open, you see that workbook, but not the hidden workbook.
  2. Right click on any workbook sheet and select unhide. Excel displays the Unhide dialog box listing all hidden workbooks.

  3. Select the workbook you want to unhide and click ok.
